The works of Jal Jeevan Mission should be taken forward rapidly in the direction of providing tap water to every household of the state.

Along with preventing wastage in various mega water projects of Water Resources Department, efficient use of water should be ensured so that water can be made available from these projects for Jal Jeevan Mission.

Keeping in view the drinking water requirements of Rajasthan, it is necessary that the water of other major projects including Chambal Project, Mahi Dam, Narmada Project should be used efficiently.  At the same time, efforts should be made to fulfill the requirements of Jal Jeevan Mission by collecting the rainwater that is wasted.

Water is in limited quantity in the state, while the demand is increasing continuously, in such a situation it is necessary that special emphasis should be given on conservation and proper use of water by studying countries like Israel.
